Established in Didsbury, Manchester, by Marcus Farmer in November 1994, we’ve helped thousands of businesses and households over the last two decades manage their waste effectively.

Today, STE Waste has a commercial office and retail client portfolio that takes in over 3,000 collections every week.
Using the latest Euro 6 vehicle technology and our trademark ‘sort at source’ recycling technique, we offer a flexible and efficient waste management service that minimises our clients’ environmental impact and helps them meet their corporate social responsibility targets.
What’s more, our narrow, 15-mile radius target market means our prices are always competitive and hard to beat.
Sensitive Waste Management
In 2008, we acquired our first onsite paper shredding truck to assist with confidential, onsite shredding, which enabled us to meet the sensitive waste management requirements of both commercial and domestic clients.
We’ve now grown our fleet to include three high security shredding trucks, and in 2016 we became the first company in the UK to offer an onsite shredding service for computer hard drive destruction.
Working to strict ISO 27001 guidelines, we offer all our clients peace of mind that their paper documents and computer-stored data have been completely and correctly destroyed.

The idea behind STE Waste has always been the same: to collect tangible items (whatever these may be) that our clients no longer require and to find a secondary market for them.
Our ethos is to provide a simple, flexible and high quality service, whether that be a hard drive shredding service or a residential paper shredding service, to ensure that our clients both rebuy and recommend our services to other local businesses and individuals.
