Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) is now a compliance waste stream for most businesses; and, from 1st April 2025 glass, tin and plastic, wherever possible, should be separated away from general waste for recycling. Where there are any contamination issues, this will always be diverted to waste to energy as an alternative treatment rather than landfill.
